Building International Digital Commons for Public Services
The GenAI for Public Good hackathon is an international event organized by the French Interministerial Digital Directorate (DINUM) through its incubator ALLiaNCE.
As part of the AI Action Summit, it is included in the “AI Convergence” challenges of the France 2030 plan.
This hackathon brings together experts from research, public administrations, and civil society to create international digital commons, designed to meet concrete needs identified in public services.
Objectives of the initiative
Create accessible digital commons
Develop open-source, replicable, and shareable solutions to improve public services and foster international collaboration.
Support digital sovereignty
Promote ethical tools independent of proprietary technologies.
Bring together diverse expertise
Enable collaboration between researchers, developers, administrations, and civil society to address collective challenges.
