Two Tracks to Address Public Service Challenges

Participants will work on one of the following two tracks:

Track 1: High-Value Algorithms

💻 Objective: Develop advanced algorithms to tackle critical technical challenges.

🗣️ Speech-to-Text

Improve the accuracy and speed of transcription tools.

🌍 Geospatial Analysis

Use AI for applications like environmental risk mapping or urban planning.

📄 Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

Automate data extraction to streamline document workflows.

🌐 Machine Translation

Design multilingual tools using open source frameworks.

Target Audience

💻 Specialized Developers: Experts in machine learning or natural language processing (NLP).
🧠 Researchers: Specializing in fundamental algorithms and large-scale datasets.


Track 2: High-Impact Use Cases

🛠 Objective: Create practical tools tailored to the needs of public administrations using proven technologies.

🤖 Administrative Automation

Simplify repetitive processes such as report drafting or document generation.

📊 Document Analysis

Build systems for information extraction and interactive responses.

🛠️ Custom Prototypes

Develop tools adapted to specific needs identified by participating teams.

Target Audience

🏢 Public Sector Digital Professionals: Familiar with internal processes and able to identify practical use cases.
👨‍💻 Full-Stack Developers: Skilled in rapid prototyping and API integration.
🎨 Designers: Creating intuitive interfaces for end users.
🌍 Civil Society Representatives: Providing insights into specific societal needs.

Registration Details

Build a Team

Teams of 3 to 6 members will work over two days to develop a functional prototype.

Resources Available

  • Access to the Albert API for advanced AI functionalities (text generation, transcription, etc.).
  • Use of H100 GPUs via the SSP Cloud INSEE for computationally intensive tasks.
  • Support from specialized mentors.
